Pet photography on it's own is not my specialty, but I wanted to contribute in some way when the rescue saved 17 dogs in one day. These beautiful dogs were all about to be put 'down' because no homes were found for them at a shelter. I won't go into the politics of why there are so many dogs in shelters but I will tell you that these dogs are wonderful. If you have a temporary or permanent home to give a dog or if you have money burning in your wallet (they always need funds for food, surgeries, etc.) you can contact Good Dog by joining their Facebook page (Good Dog Rescue).
Families with dogs come in all shapes and sizes and, if they are a good fit, it is mutually benefiting for the dog and the family. We fostered a doberman (yes a big scary doberman - a new breed for us!) a few weeks ago. He was a wonderful fella and all of us got attached to him - in fact we considered adopting him. The kids played and fed him, he hung-out with me while I edited photos and the two pooches were partners in squirrel-huntin'.
We wish him and his new family all the best.
Some of the dogs at the rescue (I believe there are almost 50 waiting to be adopted - someone please correct me):
